The 12th Annual Carlisle Skills Fair hosted by John Stevenson is set to go ahead on Thursday 22nd January, 2.00-6.30 pm at Carlisle College.
This year, over 80 local employers and education, training and skills providers are set to attend. Last year’s 11th anniversary skills fair was a huge success with a record number of employers and job seekers attending. The 2026 skills fair is looking even better.
Speaking John said, “The New Year often turns thoughts to a fresh start and a time for change in the year ahead. For some, this may be the first step on a career path, with a training course or an apprenticeship programme. For others, it may be a change of workplace or a change of job and for some it may be the first step to returning to work following a career break.
I would encourage anyone interested in new opportunities in our local area, to come along on the day and find out more.”
